It has been a while since our last posting as we were away at the Christie Antique Show. We are now back and have plenty of new items. 

This Saturday is the Spring  Kingston Road Village Art Walk and Street Festival. We invite all of you to drop by our store to check out all the new and interesting inventory. We will not only have the store fully loaded with new items, but also a trailer load full which will be displayed on the sidewalk and alley!

Gone to antique show

Hello Loyal friends and clients, 

Just wanted to send a message to let everyone know that our store will be closed from Sunday May 11 to Wednesday May 28th. We will re-open on Thurs May 29th. 

We will still have our normal business hours for our last store day on Saturday May 10th from 12pm-5pm

We will be attending an antique show out of town.

Vintage 24" Boxwood & Brass Folding Ruler No 751

Measures 24" total length with 4 x 6" folding sections and is 1/2" wide.

Made is Canada by Lufkin Rule Co. This ruler is No. 751 and indicate Warranted Boxwood directly on the ruler. Circa is from the 1800's and in fairly good condition, considering that age of this piece.

This beautiful, handmade craftsmanship Lufkin fold out ruler will make a fantastic addition to any collection. If you are looking for a unique, vintage measuring device, then this wood ruler is for you!

Lufkin is a brand featuring primarily measurement tools such as calipers, gauges, micrometers and measuring tapes. Lufkin is currently a brand of Cooper Industries

The company was founded in 1869 in Cleveland Ohio, by Edward Taylor Lufkin. He was an American Civil War veteran of the Sixtieth Regiment Ohio Volunteer Infantry.

It was originally named E.T Lufkin Board and Log Rule Manufacturing company.

The company was acquired by Cooper Industries in 1967.
